2010 Boy Staters

TO: ALL POSTS IN 9TH DISTRICT

Congratulations are in order to Boy's Stater Christian Chung who was selected to go 

to Boy's Nation.  Christian was sponsored by Post 304 in Dania Beach and is one of  

only two Boys out of 500 Boys Staters that attended the program this year.

Christian leaves for Washington, D. C. this coming Monday. 

Post 304 Boy's State Chairman Kevin Lounsberry should be very proud and the 9th

District should be very proud to have one of their Boys selected for Boy's Nation.

This year the Posts from the 9th District sponsored a total of 31 Boys for the program 

and all told me that they not only learned much from the program on how local 

government works, but all had a great time as well.

Christian and several of the Boys have asked me to allow them to make a presentation 

to the Boy's that are to be selected for next years program which shows just how much 

they appreciate the opportunity to have been selected.

Thanks to all Posts in the 9th District that participated in this great program and I do 

hope that those Posts that were not able to sponsor a boy this year will try to do so 

next year.  Believe me when you meet these young men you know you are really 

dealing with the future of America!
