Post 385 honored Sgt Adam Cann (USMC) of Davie and Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathan Bruckenthal (USCG) who were killed in Iraq by renaming their Post the Bruckenthal-Cann Weston Post 385. Past District Commander Loretta Young and Vice Commander Bill Gemayel presented the new charter to Post Commander Roy Schofield. Opening ceremonies were held by Everglades High School JROTC. |

Commander Roy Schofield then presented a copy of the charter to Mr. Leigh Cann, father of Sgt. Adam Cann who accepted on behave of this son. Mr. Cann spoke of his son and of Nathan Bruckenthal who is also buried near his son in Arlington National Cemetery . |
